Do your Farmville animals need more land? Do you have more decorations than you can fit on your farm? You can easily expand your farm without using any Farmville cheats. You can transform your farm into a huge plantation using Farmville's land expansion option. You will be able to maximize profits by purchasing upgrades.
at the moment, there are six available farm upgrades: Homestead, Family Farm, Big Family Farm, Plantation, Big Ole Plantation and Mighty Plantation.
Homestead
The land expansion available first in Farmville is Homestead. The Homestead is a 14x14 farm. You will have to pay 10,000 coins for the Homestead. You will need 8 at least 8 neighbors in addition to the coins. You can't expand if you have the coins, but not the neighbors.
Family Farm
The next upgrade is Family Farm. You will be able to expand your land to 16x16. In order to expand to the Family Farm you will need 10 neighbors and 25,000 coins.
Big Family Farm
You can upgrade to the Big Family Farm after the Family Farm. The size of your farm will then be 18x18. This upgrade can be obtained with either coins or farm cash. It will take either 50,000 coins or 20 farm cash.
Plantation
The fourth expansion, the plantation, is 20x20. This upgrade requires you to have 16 neighbors. You can either use your coins or farm cash. This expansion will cost you either 20 farm cash or 75,000 coins. 75,000 coins or 20 farm cash will buy this expansion. Using farm cash, though, eliminates the requirement for 16 neighbors.
Big Ole Plantation
The Big Ole Plantation increases your land to 22x22. To upgrade, you will need at least 20 neighbors. 250,000 coins will buy you this expansion.
Mighty Plantation
Last January 22, this upgrade was made available to Farmville fans. All Farmville players can't get this upgrade. Become a fan if you want to get this expansion.
The largest land expansion available currently is the Mighty Plantation. It will cost 500,000 coins and you will need 30 neighbors to upgrade to the Mighty Plantation. If you have 60 farm cash, you can use the cash instead of the coins.
You have to buy each upgrade in succession, don't forget. For example, you must upgrade to Homestead before you can purchase Family Farm. You can't skip over an expansion. If you don't meet the requirements or haven't bought the upgrade below it, you won't be able to buy an expansion. For example, if you don't have the required number of neighbors).
